Hello! I am Joanna Ruvo, owner and photographer here at My Two Pearls Photography. I live in Connecticut with my husband and two beautiful daughters. My family and children are my greatest inspiration, in both art and life. The name “My Two Pearls” is in honor of my two girls, both June babies (and pearl birthstones).

My love of art began when I took up oil painting in high school. Not long after, I purchased my first camera and discovered my passion for photography. While I am a lover of all art, photography has my heart. There is something truly special, and so very important, about capturing the fleeting moments in our lives that are most precious to us, and holding on to those memories and emotions forever.
